Political Signs Turned Into ACPD

Political Signs Turned Into ACPD

It turns out the No on D campaign signs that were reported stolen last week were not stolen after all. Angels Camp Police Department recently issued a news alert that someone had stolen some No on D campaign signs and sought the public’s assistance. Since then, the person who removed the signs turned them in to the Police Department. Apparently they removed the signs at the request of the property owner because it’s possible nobody had permission to place the signs where they were. Angels Camp Police have closed the theft case, reclassified it as a civil matter and apologized for any confusion. Meanwhile, they are reporting that someone reported vandalism of some Yes on D signs and remind citizens that vandalizing property is against the law.
