ACBOS Gives Go-Ahead For Jail Expansion

The Amador County Board of Supervisors gave the go-ahead to a design firm to keep moving on a new design for the county jail expansion project. The board heard an update from County staff and Nacht and Lewis, the design firm tasked with developing the jail expansion. They approved the schematic design of the expansion and gave the contractor notice to proceed with design development and funding for the project. In other business, the Board agreed to provide funding for a livery stable project proposed by the county historical society. The livery will be an addition to the museum property and will highlight livestock and working stock in the county’s history.
