Ongoing Investigation Of Sales And Transportation Of Drugs In Angels Camp

Law enforcement officers donned protective suits to enter a home and serve a search warrant in Angels Camp recently, and also locked down a nearby school. The search warrant was served on the 600 block of Stanislaus Avenue and was part of an ongoing investigation into the sales and transportation of marijuana, methamphetamine and cocaine. Officers were made aware of some sort of parasitic infestation at the home before they served the warrant, so they took precautionary measures by suiting up in protective gear from head to toe. They also coordinated with Mark Twain Elementary School and put into place a temporary lockdown while the warrant was served as a precaution. That was lifted as soon as the house was cleared.
