Silva's Court Date Delayed Until Early January

Silva's Court Date Delayed Until Early January

Outgoing Stockton Mayor Anthony Silva will not be back in court on an Amador County charge until after the end of the year. Silva was supposed to be in court on Friday, but there have apparently been delays in getting some of the discovery in the case from the federal government. So, his next court date will be in early January. Silva was charged with a felony for an alleged strip poker and alcohol party at Stockton Camp in Silver Lake. The charge was later reduced to a misdemeanor by the court. Silva lost his re-election bid last month and his term as Mayor will end at the end of the year.
