Property Taxes Are Due Today!

Amador County Treasurer-Tax Collector Michael E. Ryan is reminding property owners they have until 5 p.m. today, to make the payment of the first installment of their annual secured property taxes for the 2016-17 fiscal year.  If not paid by 5 p.m., a 10% delinquent penalty will be added. Payments may be sent to the Amador County Tax Collector, office and must be postmarked by today in order to avoid late penalties. Payments may also be made in person at the Tax Collector's Office today until 5 p.m. A payment drop box is also located near the main entrance to the Administration Center. Additionally, payments may be made with a credit card or debit card in the office and over the Internet by visiting the web-sites shown on your tax bill. For more information, visit amadorgov.org/tax and select “Public Tax Information”.
