Assemblyman Frank Bigelow has been named to the No. 2 Republican leadership spot in the California Assembly.  In making the announcement, Assembly Republican Leader Chad Mayes of Yucca Valley said he believes that Bigelow commands the respect of both Republicans and Democrats and that he is thankful to have his counsel and looks forward to getting things done this year. Bigelow, who represents the 5th Assembly District, says he is honored to be named an Assistant Republican Leader for the 2017-2018 legislative session.  Bigelow’s district includes Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne counties.
