Change at Food Bank?

A curious job posting has come up in Amador County. The Interfaith Food Bank has posted a job opening for Executive Director of the Food Bank. That position has been held for several years by Tom Thompson, who retired as manager of the Jackson Raley’s store and moved in as Executive Director at the food bank. We tried to contact Thompson at the Food Bank but he is out until Tuesday. The job posting says the successful candidate will manage and direct the Interfaith Food Bank and to oversee the management of the Interfaith Great Finds Thrift Store and they’re looking for someone with extensive experience in similar operations. Thompson is listed as the contact, so he will likely be involved in selecting a new director.
