Special Dedication To Honor Local Long-Time Resident

A special dedication Tuesday honored a special Sutter Creek man. The Sutter Creek Business Association and the Sutter Creek Lions Club honored long-time resident and active community member Pat Crosby with a plaque dedicating a bench along Main Street in his name. The bench sits in front of Lizzie Ann’s/Bubblegum Book Store, which Pat and Maureen Crosby owned for decades. Crosby was an active member of the community for 57 years, serving on the City Council, Promotions Committee, Business Association and many other organizations. He is credited with starting the visitors center on Main Street and director Lisa Koslowski told KVGC he was the driving force behind a number of activities designed to promote the city. Many people showed up today to honor Pat and help dedicate the bench in his name.
