Bald Eagle Tours Are Back!
Bald Eagle tours are back at Pardee and Camanche Reservoirs next month. East Bay Municipal Utility District will hold free boat tours of eagle habitat at the two lakes on January 14 and 28, days when the lakes are normally closed to the public. It’s a good time to view the eagles because they come south from their normal habitat to enjoy milder temperatures and more food. You get to hop onto a pontoon boat with a ranger and other nature enthusiasts. Eagle sightings are not guaranteed but you can still enjoy a nice…very cold..day on the lake. Seating is limited and reservations are required, so call 772-8204.
