Car Theft in Angels Camp

Angels Camp Police are looking for a man who stole a car by taking the victim’s keys while they worked. According to the Police Department, at around 5pm Sunday, an unknown suspect entered the Rite Aide in Angels Camp and cut a lock off of an employee locker then removed car keys and the remote key fob for the employee’s car. He exited the store and used the key fob to locate and unlock the car and then drove away in the victim's vehicle. Nobody at Rite Aide knows who the suspect is, but they did catch a surveillance photo. The vehicle, a 2007 white Toyota Yaris, with CA license plate 7CDV572, is still outstanding. If you see the car, do not approach them – call 911. Anyone with information related to this case is asked to contact the Angels Camp Police Department at 209-754-6500, or 209-736-2567.
