ACBOS New Members Participate In First Meeting

Two new members of the Amador County Board of Supervisors joined their new colleagues and got right to work today. Pat Crew and Frank Axe participated in their first meeting today. The board awarded $30,000 to the Amador County Chamber of Commerce for their ongoing work. The money will come from Transient Occupancy Tax funds. They also approved a request from the Behavioral Health Department to lease four apartments in Ione to house mental health patients and their families. The lease amounts to about $4,000 a month for all four apartments and the funding comes from a mental health services account fund.
