Sutter Amador Hospital Receives Significant Donation

Sutter Amador Hospital received a significant donation recently from American Legion Ambulance Service. The Ambulance service donated $228,000 to the hospital to support their Emergency Department. American Legion Post 108 Ambulance Services president Al Lennox said the collaboration and care that Sutter Amador provides is essential to Amador County, and is one the organization is proud to support. The donation will be used to purchase several pieces of equipment, portable cardiac monitors and wheelchairs for Emergency Department patients. The funding will also allow the Emergency Department team to complete cardiac stress tests directly in the ER. The Sutter Amador Emergency Department sees approximately 80 patients per day.
