Dandelion Days Celebration This Weekend!
The Jackson Lions club Annual St. Patrick's Day Dandelion Days Celebration is this week-end. This family-oriented event is one of the areas largest outdoor bazaar and flea markets featuring antiques, relics and collectibles, arts and crafts, and more. There’s also lots of fun, food; street entertainers and even the Bunsen to Beakers 5K run on Saturday morning. A pancake, ham and egg breakfast, located at the Jackson Civic Center, kicks off both days activities at 7:00am. The two day event runs both Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 5pm. Parking is limited, so shuttle service will be offered this year from the Transit Center on Sutter Hill, the County Administration Building in Jackson and from the dirt lot at the corner of Highway 49 and Broadway in South Jackson. Dandelion Days is the Jackson Lions Club's largest fund-raising effort and benefits student scholarships and community events.
