Mayhem, Torture Arrest in Burson

A Burson man is in jail on more than one million dollars bail after allegedly biting and hitting his girlfriend so severely that she had to be taken to the hospital. According to Calaveras County Sheriff’s Sergeant Anthony Eberhardt, deputies were sent to the 5700 block of Heron Lane in Burson for a domestic violence call. They learned that 34-year-old Nolan Alan Hilyard and his 53 year old live in girlfriend were involved in a physical fight where Hilyard allegedly hit and bit her on the head and face many times, causing severe injuries.
