Jackson Man Arrested For Burglary Of Cricket Wireless

A Jackson man has been arrested for a weekend burglary of the Cricket Wireless store. The Amador County Sheriff’s Office reports that 33-year-old Jeffrey Eugene Kay of Jackson was arrested for possessing stolen property in connection with a night time burglary at the Cricket Wireless in Martell over the weekend. The store had surveillance footage and observant employees believed the suspect from the video resembled a suspicious man who had visited the store the night before. Deputies recognized the person in the footage as Kay, who is serving a term on Post Release Community Supervision. They tracked him down and found him in possession of items taken in the burglary.
