Graduation Rates Came Up Mixed In The Local Area

Graduation rates in 2016 came up mixed in the local area. The California Department of Education compared the number of students in high school for the 2012-2013 school year to the number who graduated in 2016 to get to the graduation rate. Amador County schools had a graduation rate of 87.9% in 2016, down slightly from the 88.6% in 2015. In Calaveras County, all of the districts combined had graduation rate of 94.6%, up slightly from 93.8% the year before. The state average was about 83%
