Amador Wines Win Big In State Fair Wine Competition 

The California State Fair Wine Competition is over and several Amador County wines made the top grade in their categories. Bella Grace’s 2016 Vermentino won Best California Other White Varietal and Best Sierra Foothills White. Andis Wines’ 2013 Painted Fields too Best California Bordeax Red Varietal Blend honors. Montevina’s 2015 Glass Falls earned Best California Pinot Grigio. Deaver Vineyards 2015 Primitivo won best California Primitivo. And Convergence Vineyards 2015 Tempranillo won best California Tempranillo. Many other double gold, gold, silver and bronze awards were given to several local wineries.
