ATM At Buckhorn STP Taken

The Amador Sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects who broke into the Buckhorn STP Gas Station this morning.   The suspects chained up and stole the ATM machine using their pickup truck.  In video surveillance footage, the truck appears to be a lighter colored (possible gray or white) late 90’s- early 2000’s Dodge pickup truck, extended cab, 4x4 with a broken tailgate handle and possibly additional damage to the rear.  The truck also appears to have a black stripe on the hood.  There were two suspects involved but only one entered the store and was caught on camera.  The suspect appears to be a male adult, thin build wearing a dark colored baseball cap with accent designs or camouflage, half mask covering his face, hooded sweatshirt, gloves, and pants.  In addition to the ATM machine, they also stole approximately thirty cartons of miscellaneous brands of cigarettes.   Any information related to these suspects and or vehicle; please call the Amador County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Bureau at 223-6507 or to remain anonymous call Secret Witness at 223-4900. Photos of the suspect and vehicle are posted on our Facebook page.
