District Fails To Re-Fill Full-Time Science Position At Argonaut

The District Office, it was pointed out by both senior Landry Eagye and Junior Moira Jorgenson, failed to re-fill the full-time science position, leaving Argonaut without a teacher for AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, and Chemistry, despite the fact that Argonaut had dozens of kids signed up for those classes. Both young women expressed their appreciation for the Argonaut High staff that were scrambling to find creative ways for students to take those classes, including taking chemistry online, which is the only option at Argonaut. Interestingly, this may affect the AG Science students the most adversely, as the district office has combined AP Biology with two AG Classes: AG Leadership and Floral Design into one classroom, at the same time and taught by one teacher, thereby resulting in the AG students losing their FFA status.
