Water Service Disrupted Throughout Plymouth

Water Service Disrupted Throughout Plymouth

Construction work to relocate waterlines for the new Plymouth Roundabout has disrupted service throughout parts of the city today. 3 separate waterline tie-ins are taking place over the 24 hr period that started early this morning. Crews from George Reed and Mozingo Construction will be working through 5 AM tomorrow morning in order to complete this massive project. During this time, customers will be required to boil any water they plan on consuming or use bottled water, until sample results come back and the water is safe to drink. AWA crews will flush all the system lines once the work is completed and the concrete sets up. Once AWA crews recharge the lines, samples come back clear, the water agency will notify customers that the water is safe to drink. If you have any questions contact the AWA at 223-3018 or the city of Plymouth at 245-6941.
