Vehicle Pursuit Ends In San Joaquin County Leads To 3 Arrests 

A vehicle pursuit that started in Calaveras County and ended in San Joaquin County resulted in the arrest of 3 burglary suspects. According to the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office, around 1 A.M. Sunday morning, a deputy patrolling in the Wallace area attempted to make a traffic stop after witnessing a vehicle swerving then come to a complete stop on eastbound highway 12.  As the deputy initiated the stop, the suspect vehicle took off., fleeing towards Valley Springs, circling back into San Joaquin County via Highway 26. The CHP then took over the pursuit, which ended in the Farmington area when the suspect vehicle crashed. According to the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect vehicle matched the description of a “be on the lookout” alert that had been issued several hours prior by the Manteca Police Department for a robbery that occurred in that city. The driver and two passengers were taken into custody by the CHP and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail.
