Sutter Amador Hospital To Host Two Free Flu Clinics

Sutter Amador Hospital To Host Two Free Flu Clinics

With flu season on the horizon, Sutter Amador Hospital will host two free community flu clinics. Cases of influenza can show up as early as November, with the flu season lasting through April. Sutter Amador Hospital recommends that everyone in the community, who can get vaccinated, should get vaccinated. The two clinics are scheduled, Saturday October 21st and November 19th, at the hospital outpatient services center in Jackson from 10AM-2PM. Flu immunizations will not be available at Amador County Schools so this is a good opportunity to have your children immunized at no cost to you. The flu shots are available to anyone over the age of 3. For children under the age of three, please contact your primary care provider to obtain a vaccination. Attendees are also asked to help support those in need in our community by bringing a non-perishable food item to donate to the Interfaith Food Bank. These community clinics are possible thanks to the partnership with Amador county Public Health, Sutter Medical Foundation, Amador County Unified School District and Sutter Amador Hospital.
