Amador Property Tax Bills Are In The Mail

Amador Property Tax Bills Are In The Mail

Amador County Treasurer-Tax Collector Michael E. Ryan reminds county property owners, if you do not receive your tax bill by tomorrow October 13th, to contact the tax collector’s office at 223-6346. Ryan says that state law states that failure to receive a property tax bill does not relieve the taxpayer of the responsibility to make timely payments to the tax collector’s office, nor does it prevent penalties for late payments. Over 23,200 secured tax bills with tax charges totaling in excess of $52.9 million were mailed to county property owners.
