Plymouth Council Gives Final Approval For Repairing City Pool

The Plymouth City Council gave final approval to a contract for repairing the City pool, and accepted a donation to help pay for the project.   The Council approved a contract to repair the city pool, which has been closed for the last year.   Most of the work will be to reline the bottom of the pool, which has cracked in several places.   To help fund the effort, the Council accepted two checks totals $13,500 that were raised for the pool at a special event during Big Crush.      The Council also received an update on the Highway 49/Main street traffic-circle project.   With the round-a-bout now in place and functioning, Council-members traded stories on driving the new traffic feature.   The Council chose to cancel their December 28th meeting later this month due to the holidays.  The Council will next meet on January 11th.  The decision to buy new playground equipment and the election of Mayor and Vice-Mayor were both moved to that meeting date.
