Fire And Utility Crews Called To Small Grass Fire Along Highway 88

Fire and Utility Crews were called to a small grass fire along Highway 88 just east of the Jackson Rancheria General Store and Gas Station, just before 6 last night. PG&E crews were called out to de-energized power to assist firefighters in safely fighting the blaze and remained on scene to make the necessary repairs. At the height of the outage, 225 PG&E customers were without power in the Jackson area. The outage was reduced to 30 customers by 8 pm, with all customers restored at 1:36 AM.
