Snowy and Icy Conditions Led To Major Injuries For A Carson City Man

Snowy and icy conditions led to major injuries for a Carson City man. According to CHP, just before 7PM Roger Sherlock of Pioneer was driving Northbound on Inspiration Drive East, South of Live Oak Road at an unknown speed. Meanwhile Robert Pouard of Carson City was driving southbound on Inspiration Drive West, also at an unknown speed, when he became stuck due to the ice and snowy conditions, Pouard then exited his vehicle. Due to Sherlock’s speed he lost control of his vehicle striking a tree and continued on striking Pouard’s vehicle and then Pouard himself. After the collision Sherlock fled the scene but was later identified, Pouard suffered major injuries.
