More Trouble For A Calaveras High Student

There’s more trouble today for a Calaveras High student.   According to the Calaveras Sheriff’s office, during their follow-up investigation into the student’s arrest Tuesday for making gun threats, officials have revealed additional incidents involving more threats and a weapon.   On Tuesday, the 15-year-old male student had been overheard during a lock down drill discussing bringing a firearm to school.  The conversation was relayed to school administrators who notified the sheriff’s department.  Deputies responded and arrested the student for making threats.  Further investigation revealed the student during a previous occasion had threatened another student.   Additionally in another incident, on or about September 7th of last year, the student was found with a knife after he had threatened to stab another student.  The Sheriff’s department released no further details, as this is an ongoing investigation.  It’s unclear whether the student will face additional charges.
