Gas Line Replacement Project To Cause Delays And Closures Throughout Jackson

Pacific Gas and Electric Company and Vulcan Construction have begun a yearlong   gas line replacement project throughout the City of Jackson.  The projects include gas main line and service line replacements.  At various times throughout the project traffic control measures and potential closures, if needed, will be in place.  During these closures, only Resident, Business, Emergency, Construction and City vehicles will have access to these areas. PG&E will notify effected neighborhoods with door-to-door updates on how the project will impact services and access.  If you have any questions call the City of Jackson at 223-1646.

Today and tomorrow:

Pacific Gas and Electric Co. and Vulcan Construction will be closing portions of Perry Street to through traffic.  This closure will be in place between Schober Avenue and Lloyda Street.  All non-residents in this area are required to select an alternate route.
