Escanaba In Da' Moonlight Premieres Tonight At The Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre

Main Street Theatre Works launches the second show of their 2018 Summer Season at the Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre in Jackson tonight, with “Escanaba in Da’ Moonlight”. Actor, director and writer, Jeff Daniels, wrote “Escanaba in Da’ Moonlight” while he was filming Dumb and Dumber, which sort of sets the comedy tone for this play. The story tells the tale of the opening day of deer season in Escanaba Michigan, 1989. Performances are Friday and Saturday nights, with gate opening at 6:30 P.M., show starting at 8 P.M. Patrons are encouraged to come early with picnics and chairs. Only service animals are allowed. Tickets are $20 for adults, $17.50 for seniors and $12 for youths 18 and under. Tickets may be purchased at the gate, at Hein & Co. in Jackson or online at www.MSTW.org. Escanaba in Da’ Moonlight runs thru September 9th.
