Suspect Arrested In The Recent Burglary At Amador High School

A suspect has been arrested in the recent burglary and theft of new welders, torches and other items taken from the welding shop of Amador High School.   According to the Sutter Creek PD, on Thursday, 33 year old Stockton resident Ryan Lapp, agreed to sell items to an undercover officer that were identical to what was stolen from Amador High School.   Lapp delivered items that were later determined to have been from the High School burglary.    A team of Amador County Police Officers composed of members of ACCNET (Amador County Combined Narcotics Enforcement Team), the Amador County District Attorney's Office and the Sutter Creek Police Department made the arrest, and eventually recovered additional stolen property from the school burglary.   Lapp was later booked into the Amador County Jail on related charges.   While a number of items were recovered, there are still some missing.   If you have any information regarding the location of this stolen property, you are encouraged to call the Sutter Creek Police Department at 267-5646, or Amador County Secret Witness Hotline at 223-4900.
