Amador Board Of Sups Chair Lynn Morgan To Conclude Her Term

Amador County Board of Supervisors Chair Lynn Morgan will be concluding her term of service at the end of this year.  Morgan moved to Pioneer in Amador County in 2007, after retiring from over 30 years of a successful career in farm management and agricultural marketing.  She soon got involved in community organizations (Farms of Amador and Upcountry Community Council).  Through those experiences, including leading the community to save the Payless IGA grocery store, Morgan was encouraged to run for District 3 Supervisor and was elected to that position in 2014.  Her last meeting will be on December 18 and Foothills Rising would like to express their gratitude for Morgan’s service with a potluck this Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Amador City Community Center in Amador City.   Please RSVP to Kate Turner at  415-513-3322.
