Three People Injured In Two Car Accident On Highway 88

Three people were injured and traffic was tied up on Highway 88 just east of Blue Sky drive in a 2 vehicle accident yesterday.  According to reports, the collision happened around 2:45 shutting down traffic in both directions while emergency personnel worked to free the injured parties.  Air ambulance had been called in, but declined to fly due to weather conditions.    All three occupants of the two vehicles were transported to Valley Trauma Centers via ground ambulances.  The Highway was opened to one lane traffic control about 4:15, with the roadway completely opened by 5:15.  Yesterday afternoons weather is believed to be a major factor in this incident.  The names and condition of the injured parties has not yet been released.
