More Information Regarding Two-Vehicle Head-On Collision along 88 and Blue Sky Drive Released

More information regarding the two-vehicle head-on collision yesterday (Nov. 29th) along Highway 88 and Blue Sky Drive has been released.  According to CHP, 46 year old Sutter Creek man, Bryan Giannini, was driving his Toyota Pickup Eastbound on 88 East of Blue Sky Drive at approximately 50 mph in #1 lane.  62 year old Jerry Beeman of Ione was driving his Ford Escape Westbound on 88 approaching Giannini’s vehicle at approximately 55 mph.  The roadway was wet and it was raining lightly.  As Giannini’s Toyota Pickup crossed the railroad tracks, the pickup’s tires began to spin and Giannini lost control of his vehicle.  The Toyota traveled into the Westbound lane of 88 and struck Beeman’s Ford Escape head on.  After the collision, Giannini pulled himself out of his vehicle while Beeman and his passenger (information not yet disclosed) were trapped in the Ford Escape.  Fire Crews arrived on scene and cut Beeman and his passenger out of their vehicle.  No other information has been provided at this time.
