Wet Pavement And Inattention To Speed Sent One Amador County Driver On A Wild Ride

Wet pavement inattention and speed sent one Amador County driver on a wild ride yesterday afternoon.  According to the CHP, around 4:30, the driver only Identified as a teen was traveling west on Butte Mountain Road near Shirley Road and due to inattention and speed and the roadway conditions, was not able to maintain control of the vehicle, spun out, went off the road and cart wheeled into a field landing on its top. Fortunately the driver and passenger were uninjured, but defiantly had a story to tell.
