Emergency Crews Rolled To A Reported Fire At The Lincoln Mine

Emergency crews rolled to a reported commercial fire at the Lincoln Mine in Amador City yesterday afternoon.  First units arrived on the scene just before 3 and confirmed smoke was visible.  After further investigation it was confirmed the cause of the smoke was a broken belt in the buildings heating and cooling unit and was confined to the unit. Sutter Creek Fire, Cal Fire, Amador Fire Protection District and City of Jackson all responded. Fire crews were released just after 5pm.
