The New Amador Economic Prosperity Center Is Now Open

The Amador County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the opening of the Amador Economic Prosperity Center located at 70 W Ridge Road, Sutter Creek. The Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Mother Lode Job Training, Amador College Connect, and Columbia College, all of whom will be housed within the center, will provide a one-stop-shop for businesses, community members, students and visitors within the county. According to Jamie Armstrong, CEO of the Chamber, “Everybody deserves a chance to prosper. It’s not just economic development. It’s infrastructure, education, leadership training and so much more.” Armstrong says it’s always been her dream to bring these five resource organizations under one roof, opening the door to opportunity, helping people build wealth and enabling meaningful mobility together. Now that this goal has been achieved the AEPC will explore ways to expand their efforts and promote economic opportunity, infrastructure, economic growth incentive and integration, and energy markets. The Chamber of Commerce and Mother Lode Job Training are currently up and running in the location, with the remaining agencies moving in by September.
