Sierra Baptist July 4th Carnival

The Sierra Baptist Church 4th of July Carnival is back and will be bigger and better than ever.  The Carnival held each year on the 4th of July in Pioneer Park will run from 11 am - 2 pm.  It features 2 water slides, 2 dunk tanks, a petting zoo, demonstrations by the Sheriff's K-9 Unit, Waterworks by the Amador County Fire Protection District (no fireworks in the Upcountry), Contests, an Arcade, Horseshoes, Popcorn, Shaved Ice, Water, Soft Drinks, Burgers & Hot Dogs with all the trimmings, and other surprises. And it is all Free and open to all residents of the County.   Take Hwy 88 toward Silverlake and turn Left at Buckhorn Ridge Road at the Carnival Sign. The park is a few miles down Buckhorn Ridge Road on the Left.
