Woman Arrested On Suspicion Of Arson 

A woman was arrested and booked on suspicion of intentionally starting a fire in the Forest Meadows subdivision.  Katrina Kelly, 25, was arrested Friday, on suspicion of two felonies: arson to an inhabited structure and committing arson during the current state of emergency declared by the governor four months ago due to extreme peril posed by wildfire risk.  The blaze damaged a home worth more than $350,000 on Tuesday and burned more than one-tenth of one acre of vegetation in the Highway 4 subdivision that is home to more than 500 residences.  No injuries were reported in the alleged arson fire.  Kelly was booked into Calaveras County Jail and her bail was set at $350,000. The incident and reasons behind the suspects actions are under investigation.
