Moro Bay Man Arrested Following High Speed Chase

A Moro Bay man is behind bars today following a high speed chase through two counties.   According to the Jackson Police, last night just before 1am, a JPD officer on patrol, attempted to make a traffic stop on a Honda motorcycle, near the Vista Point along Highway 49/88.  36 year old Brian Dill, who is on Post Release Community Supervision, and not a licensed motor rider, took off westbound on Highway 88, with the Jackson officer in pursuit.  Traveling at speeds of up to 100 mph, Dill continued until Lockford, where he turned around and headed East again on 88 back into Amador County, followed now by the CHP, Amador Sheriff and JPD.  Dill finally pulled over and surrendered to officers just west of Gayla Drive.  The JPD reports, the motorcycle was not reported stolen and Dill was not in possession of any contraband or drugs.  He fled the officer, because he was an unlicensed driver!   Dill was booked into the Amador County Jail on charges of Evading police officers with disregard to safety and driving with a license suspended/ revoked for DUI.
