Shotgun Toting Roommate Behind Bars

A Pine Grove man was booked into county jail on felony weapons charges. According to Under-Sheriff Gary Redman, just before 12:30 Monday afternoon, Sheriff’sdispatch received a telephone call of a physical disturbance between two roommates at a home in Pine Grove.  Deputies responded to the residence and upon arrival of the first deputy, he observed a male subject pointing a shotgun at two other subjects.  The deputy drew his firearm, ordered the armed subject to drop the shotgun and all of them to lie down on the ground.   All subjects complied.  The deputy advised dispatch he had four subjects at gunpoint with one of them being armed with a shotgun and requested emergency cover.  Amador County Deputies, CHP, JPD and SCPD responded Code-3 (emergency lights and siren) to assist.   All four subjects were safely detained without further incident.  It was determined David Hansen and his roommate, Joshua Ramirezblackwell have been involved in a prolonged roommate dispute which had turned physical in the past.  As Hansen was attempting to move his belongs, he and Ramirezblackwell became involved in a verbal argument.  At some point, Ramirezblackwell began throwing rocks at Hansen.  Hansen retreated into his bedroom and out with the shotgun.  Hansen pointed the shotgun at Ramirezblackwell and another male subject, stating he would shoot them.  Hansen was arrested for Felony assault with a firearm.  Bail was set at $50,000.00.  Ramirezblackwell was arrested for Misdemeanor battery on a person and Misdemeanor violation of probation.  He was booked and released at the Amador County Jail.
